I am a "digital native" passionate about representation, service, and change at the intersection of policy and new media.

Millie was born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley of Southern California. In middle school, Millie's family moved to China—where she attended a Chinese-language public school in Guangxi province and then international boarding schools in Hong Kong. She returned to Los Angeles for high school, only to end up in China once more for university!
Millie graduated from New York University Shanghai double majoring in Political Science (B.A.) and Interactive Media Arts (B.S.) in 2019. She's also studied "abroad" in New York City, Washington D.C., and Berlin, Germany
